About us:

We opened in las vegas on $5k back in Oct 1st. 2006. When we opened we had dreams of being the biggest head shop chain in Las Vegas. All that changed after only being in the business a couple months. We did want to be a true smoke shop with little cigarettes, no stupid stuff like the Haji shops we had ween. And from that dream we bring you The Devils Playground.

We sell the usual 420 items. We also carry BMX because we have a strong background in BMX. But unlike the original plan we discovered Hookah. We took a look at the customers that smoked hookah then looked at the shops that carried it. Sure enough this was a market that was not being done right 10-15 hookahs per store a good shop carried like 20-30 Tobaccos etc... We just decided to start smoking in the shop inviting people that did not even know what a hookah was to try it. Before we knew it we had so many customers that the 24/7 hookah side actually meant something. We then opened up VIP rooms and it just kept getting bigger. We started having free parties monthly and that grew also. So we ended up opening 3 more shops.

Well here it is just over a year later and we have 1 shop and are planning to open #2 again. So what happened? The city of Las Vegas Business Liscence dept. Decided we had to be doing something wrong and proceeded to come in with Police several times a week at 3 of the shops. It does not look good to our customers that we have raids 2-3 times a week. So between that and dishonest employees we closed 2 shops, sold a 3rd. one

We smoke hookah in the shop pretty much all the time. You can walk in and usually hit a lit hookah and if not we will light one up for you to try. We keep track of what flavors sell the best so when you go HHMM I am in the mood for fruity or minty or whats a great mix this week we know what to recomend.

Also being 24/7 there is no need to rush to get here. Many people run out of coals or their favorite flavor in the middle of the night and have nowhere to go. Well in Vegas we are that answer. It`s funny to think with 250 smoke shops in Las Vegas only 2 are open 24/7. This ship and the one we sold.

We are always looking for new items and carry alot of cheaper Hookahs because we deal alot with the younger crowds as well as newbies. We recomend trying a Pumpkin hookah or a smaller hookah to start. Why tie up $100-200 for a hookah just to decide well it was fun but I dont`t want to do it anymore. We recomend a cheap oone and when you decide you will make this a smoking chice we get you in to a nicer Syrian or a Mya. Many people even opt for the Egyptian hookahs after they have smoked a month or 2.

So rather you are looking for that first hookah or the tenth one we will be the place to come to. We try to smoke every hookah type we sell. Most of the multi hose hookahs we carry have bearings in them so you can smoke more then 1 person and not hold the ends of the hoses.
